Free School Uniform Project

Do you have any spare School Uniforms, Sports Kits, Stationery, Shoes or School Bags which you no longer need which could be used by others?

If so, please donate to our Free School Uniform Project to help children and young people of all ages throughout our Region. We need donations of all used School Uniforms (and new donations too if you wished) and in particular black skirts and trousers of all sizes which could be worn by both Primary and Secondary School Pupils.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have updated this project for this summer to ensure that we can still support as many families as possible during this time. Donations can be made at all of the following locations:

The Donation Points:

  • Tesco's Metro Store, Stranraer
  • Douglas Ewart High School, 1 Corsbie Grove, Newton Stewart
  • Castle Douglas Primary School, 8 Jenny's Loaning, Castle Douglas
  • Oasis Youth Centre, Dumfries
  • Summerhill Community Centre, Dumfries
  • Action for Children, Kelloholm
  • Annan Reuse Project, Annan

This year, we can offer a new service where you complete the Application Form below in as much detail as possible and we will then send on your School Clothing Pack to you by our delivery team between Monday 27 July - Friday 7 August 2020.

If you have any queries at all, please contact our Anti-Poverty Team on 01387 260243 or e-mail Challenge.Poverty@dumgal.gov.uk.
