Speech bubble update

Updated - 20th January 2021

The First Minister provided a statement to the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 19th January giving more information in relation to schools. In her statement, she said that community transmission of the virus is too high - and is likely to remain so for the next period - to allow a safe return to school on 1st February as originally planned.

Therefore, with the exception of vulnerable and key worker children - school and nursery premises will remain closed until mid-February.

Our schools already have remote learning in place to support our pupils whist they remain at home.  Teachers are providing guidance, tasks and are available to answer and questions or provide help.

If you have any queries about your child's learning, please contact your class teacher directly.
